Description
We've found that they seem to be softer than nickel silver, firmer than aluminum. They buff out beautifully in the tumbler and have the color and shine of sterling silver when polished!
Punched from 18 gauge sheet metal
Size: 3/4" diameter (20mm)
Thickness: about 1mm (18 gauge)
Hole: none
Quantity: 2 stamping blanks
Flat blanks. They can be hammered, textured, inked, stamped, pierced ~ so many options!
The metal is great for stamping, soft enough for even an 8 oz. hammer.
Makes a nice deep and crisp impression when you use just about any stamp.
These come mostly smooth and de-burred, but the edges on these will need a slight polishing to smooth out any residual roughness. We tumble ours for about 1-2 hours with stainless steel shot and just a couple drops of white ivory liquid soap.
They seem to resist scratching better than aluminum, and the price is better than sterling silver!
